Lead DevOps Engineer – Platform & CI/CD Modernization

About the role

We are looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer to design and implement a unified, modern deployment platform across the organization. You will drive the transformation of our CI/CD stack toward containerized, infrastructure-as-code delivery, reducing manual effort and deployment risk.

Key responsibilities

• Own the architecture of scalable, secure, cost-effective AWS environments supporting hosted enterprise applications.
• Define and enforce DevOps standards, including infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipeline design, and environment management.
• Consolidate existing tooling (GitLab CI, Jenkins, Octopus Deploy) into a standardized, modern deployment solution.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, and scripting (Shell, Python).
• Lead containerization initiatives with Docker and Kubernetes, and improve observability and reliability practices.
• Mentor engineers, evaluate new technologies, and build proof-of-concept automation solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a technical leader in platform architecture and DevOps automation.
• Deep expertise in AWS, Terraform, Ansible, and modern CI/CD practices.
• Hands-on experience with GitLab CI, Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Strong problem-solving skills, able to investigate incidents and design preventive automation.
• Ability to collaborate with development, QA, and client-facing teams.
