Lead DevOps Engineer (Level I)

About the role

We are looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer to design, build and automate cloud‑native infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. The role focuses on Kubernetes, Azure DevOps pipelines, Helm chart management and secure secret handling, with a solid theoretical background in service mesh and GitOps tools.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications on Kubernetes clusters (AKS).
• Create, manage and maintain Helm charts for application deployments.
• Implement and operate secret management solutions such as Azure Key Vault or HashiCorp Vault.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimise Kubernetes environments, including performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve deployment reliability and efficiency.
• Support infrastructure automation using IaC and GitOps principles (Terraform, Argo CD).
• Participate in release planning, production support and cloud resource provisioning.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Kubernetes administration and application deployment.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance.
• Proficiency in secret management tools (Azure Key Vault, HashiCorp Vault).
• Solid understanding of containerisation (Docker) and Helm chart authoring.
