Lead DevOps Engineer – Kubernetes, Azure DevOps & Helm

About the role

We are looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer who will design, build and automate cloud‑native infrastructure on Azure. The role focuses on Kubernetes administration, CI/CD pipeline creation with Azure DevOps, and secure Helm‑based deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Deploy and manage containerised applications on Kubernetes clusters (AKS).
• Create, version and maintain Helm charts for all services.
• Implement secret‑management solutions (Azure Key Vault, HashiCorp Vault, Google Secret Manager).
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimise Kubernetes environments.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve deployment reliability.
• Apply Infrastructure as Code and GitOps principles (Terraform, Argo CD).
• Provide production support and participate in release planning.

Required skills

• Kubernetes administration and application deployment.

• Containerisation with Docker.
• Service mesh (Istio) and GitOps (Argo CD) knowledge.

• Monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Azure services: AKS, Virtual Machines, Storage, Networking, Monitor, Log Analytics.
• Scripting with Bash, PowerShell or Python.
• Version control with Git.
