About the role

The Lead Assistant Manager will support senior leadership by delivering comprehensive financial analysis, budgeting, and cost‑control insights. This role bridges finance and operational teams, ensuring accurate reporting and strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct cost‑benefit analysis of key initiatives and prepare budgets, forecasts, and operating plans.
• Track performance indicators, highlight trends, and investigate unexpected variances.
• Partner with business units to disseminate financial information for decision‑making and control.
• Provide timely financial recommendations to management based on detailed analysis of reports.
• Support senior management and department heads with in‑depth financial analysis against budget.
• Identify cost‑control opportunities and present actionable recommendations.
• Prepare quarterly and monthly MIS reports, capital expenditure analyses, and ad‑hoc project reports.
• Present variance analysis and assess foreign‑exchange impacts on the business.
• Compute accurate rate cards, margins, and analyze pricing inputs and their effect on profitability.
