Lamination Operator – Flexible Packaging

About the role

The Lamination Operator is responsible for running the Nord Meccanica Combi machine to produce high‑quality flexible packaging films. The role requires careful monitoring of the lamination process, ensuring minimal waste while maintaining output targets and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the Nord Meccanica Combi lamination machine and adjust settings to meet production specifications.
• Identify and resolve lamination process issues quickly to minimise losses.
• Maintain low waste levels and high product quality throughout each shift.
• Record production data accurately in the logbook and digital system.
• Prepare and mix adhesives, hardeners and ethyl solutions according to defined ratios.
• Apply 5S principles to keep the shop floor organized and safe.
• Prioritise personal and team safety while performing all tasks.
• Support smooth shift hand‑overs and collaborate with team members.

Required profile

• Experience operating industrial lamination equipment or similar machinery.
• Good understanding of solvent‑based and solvent‑less processes.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
• Attention to detail for accurate data entry and mixture preparation.
