Labour Compliance Manager

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on, detail‑oriented Labour Compliance Manager to lead end‑to‑end compliance with Indian labour laws across multiple locations and vendor operations in an IT services environment. The role will partner with HR, Legal, Finance and Delivery teams to proactively identify and close compliance gaps.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure end‑to‑end compliance with applicable labour statutes, including regular review of filings, registers, notices and documentation.
• Lead implementation of new labour codes (Wages, Social Security, Industrial Relations, OSH) and drive related policy alignment, vendor compliance and system/process changes.
• Drive compliance governance for third‑party vendors and contractors by reviewing PF, ESIC, contract‑labour documentation and closing non‑compliance observations.
• Conduct labour audits, statutory inspections and manage corrective actions across all locations.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Law or Business Administration with HR specialization.
• 10–12 years of hands‑on labour‑compliance experience, preferably in IT Services / ITES / BPM organisations.
• Strong knowledge of CLRA, Shops & Establishment, Minimum Wages, Payment of Wages, Bonus, Gratuity, PF, ESIC and Contract Labour regulations.
• Proven experience managing compliance for multiple locations and third‑party vendor workforces.
• Hands‑on experience in labour audits, statutory documentation, inspections and closure of non‑compliance observations.
