L1 IT Help Desk Engineer (Azure, AD, VMware)

About the role

Mizuho Global Services is seeking a motivated L1 Help Desk Engineer to provide first‑line support for its third‑party payroll platform and internal IT services. The role involves handling Azure, Intune, zScaler and Active Directory related incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Provide L1 support for Azure, Intune, zScaler and application unlocking.
• Perform password resets, AD account management and group‑policy updates.
• Troubleshoot Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory issues.
• Assist with VMware troubleshooting and administration.
• Participate in DR environment testing and documentation.
• Follow ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 27001 policies and procedures.
• Work in rotational shifts and on‑call schedule as required.

Required profile

• 4–8 years of IT help‑desk experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or IT.
• Relevant certifications such as MCSE, CCNA or Azure certifications (preferred).
• Strong customer‑centric attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team, manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks.
