Kidswear Designer

About the role
The Mom Store is seeking a creative Kidswear Designer to lead the toddler line from concept to finished garment. You will blend trend research, print development, and fit engineering to deliver playful, premium collections for our growing D2C brand.
Key responsibilities
- Research global kidswear trends and design seasonal collections, including silhouettes, fits, and colour palettes.
- Create original seamless prints and patterns that resonate with parents.
- Lead the sampling process, conduct fit‑tests, and resolve construction challenges on the spot.
- Collaborate with product and production teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet quality standards.
Required profile
- 1–4 years of experience specifically in kidswear design.
- Strong eye for playful yet sophisticated shapes and prints.
- Grit and a hands‑on attitude to iterate until the garment is perfect.
- Portfolio that demonstrates a passion for solving design puzzles.
Required skills
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe Photoshop
- Familiarity with AI generation tools for design exploration
