Key Accounts Manager – Powergen Solutions

About the role

The Key Accounts Manager (KAM) for Powergen Solutions supports the account team in building strong customer relationships and expanding Cummins' share of the wallet across assigned customers or regions. The role acts as a liaison between customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring the delivery of value‑added solutions and the execution of Cummins’ sales process.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the account team in organizing customer visits, negotiations and data preparation for evaluating Cummins benefits.
• Identify customer needs and help curate information that supports contract negotiations and implementation.
• Coordinate communication across sales roles, internal segments and external customers.
• Support revenue and share‑of‑wallet targets, champion the customer’s voice, and contribute to projects that improve customer value.
• Maintain accurate forecasting and reporting using Cummins tools and CRM systems.
• Identify new business opportunities, participate in cost‑reduction initiatives and manage account receivable discussions.
• Balance inventory, service and delivery capabilities with customer expectations.
