About the role
The Key Account Manager – Institutional Sales will lead SATO’s engagement with government bodies, NGOs, and large institutional customers to expand the reach of affordable sanitation and hygiene solutions across India. This role combines strategic advocacy, tender management, and high‑frequency field interaction to position SATO as the preferred WASH partner.
Key responsibilities
- Government Enlistment: Secure approval and listing of SATO products in the Delhi Schedule of Rates and major government procurement platforms (GeM, PWD, CPWD, AAI, MES, Gram Panchayat).
- Tender Management: Drive inclusion of SATO solutions in national and regional government tenders for sanitation and hygiene projects.
- Policy Influence: Develop policy briefs and technical case studies to integrate SATO solutions into national WASH strategies.
- High‑Frequency Engagement: Conduct 4‑5 face‑to‑face meetings daily with key decision‑makers, contractors, and influencers.
- Stakeholder Ecosystem: Build and maintain relationships with government channels, NGOs, research institutions, builders, and corporate key accounts.
- Strategic Partnerships: Define and nurture partnerships that expand product reach and reinforce SATO’s brand as a standard for WASH initiatives.
Required profile
- Proven experience in institutional or government sales, preferably within the sanitation, hygiene, or WASH sector.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate public procurement processes and influence policy.
- Strong network with government officials, NGOs, and large‑scale builders.
- Willingness to maintain a rigorous field presence with multiple daily client interactions.
