Junior Technician - Maintenance Utility

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Technician to support the maintenance of utility equipment at our Jhagadia plant. You will work under supervision to ensure that all equipment and appliances operate safely and efficiently, contributing to the smooth running of our chemical production processes.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining and repairing equipment and appliances following detailed instructions.
• Support the installation of new equipment and appliances.
• Perform standard site management tasks and respond to clear work requests.
• Help the quality function by adhering to strict quality standards.
• Follow mandatory procedures and work instructions, including the use of personal protective equipment, to meet regulatory and internal safety codes.

Required profile

• ITI (Fitter) qualification with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the chemical industry.
• Ability to work under supervision at an elementary level to plan, organize, prioritize and oversee activities.
• Understanding of safe systems of work and risk management in production.
• Capability to develop, monitor and interpret policies and procedures.
• Commitment to full compliance with applicable rules and regulations.
