Production Operator

About the role

The operator will be an individual contributor working under limited supervision, applying subject‑matter knowledge to support production activities and ensure smooth operation of the manufacturing line.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate and operate machines and equipment according to production schedules.
• Follow established quality standards and monitor production processes for compliance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems on the product line to minimise reject levels.
• Monitor equipment performance and conduct routine maintenance as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of production output, equipment settings and any incidents.
• Collaborate with maintenance and quality teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Technical Diploma or equivalent (approximately 12 years of education).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to understand specific needs or requirements and apply relevant skills and knowledge.
• Capacity to work independently with limited supervision.
• Commitment to safety standards and continuous improvement.
