Junior Production Officer – Granulation/Compression/Coating

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Production Officer to join our manufacturing team, supporting granulation, compression and coating operations in a GMP‑regulated environment. The role involves hands‑on production activities, equipment handling and strict adherence to quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute manufacturing and processing of assigned product batches under supervision, following batch manufacturing records (BMR) and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Handle raw materials, bulk, semi‑finished and finished goods, ensuring proper receipt, storage and cleanliness.
• Operate, wash and clean production equipment and accessories, and perform line clearance during batch‑to‑batch and product changeovers.
• Conduct in‑process checks, record results, and report any deviations, quality concerns or non‑conformances to supervisors and QA.
• Maintain equipment calibration and preventive maintenance schedules, and troubleshoot equipment or process issues as they arise.
• Support the Quality Management System by reporting discrepancies and participating in audit compliance activities.
• Follow all health, safety and environmental regulations, including personal hygiene and EH&S requirements.
• Participate in required cGMP, on‑the‑job and functional training programs.

Required profile

• Diploma in Pharmacy.
• 2–5 years of experience in pharmaceutical production or a related manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of cGMP, GxP and SOP compliance.
• Ability to work under supervision, follow detailed instructions and report issues promptly.
• Commitment to cost‑effective production, controlling overtime and achieving standard yields.
