Junior Officer – Production (Granulation/Compression/Coating)

About the role

This position supports the Production department in the granulation, compression and coating sections. The Junior Officer works under supervision to ensure that all manufacturing activities comply with cGMP, GxP and internal SOPs while maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Follow all cGMP, GxP and EH&S requirements during production activities.
• Execute batch manufacturing tasks as defined in the Batch Manufacturing Record (BMR) and related SOPs.
• Handle and move raw material, bulk, semi‑finished and finished goods safely.
• Operate, wash and clean equipment and accessories according to SOPs.
• Maintain the production area and equipment in line with GMP standards.
• Support the Quality Management System by reporting discrepancies, non‑conformances and audit findings.
• Perform in‑process checks, record results and ensure proper line clearance during change‑overs.
• Monitor environmental conditions and ensure equipment calibration and preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues as they arise.
• Participate in required cGMP, on‑the‑job and functional training.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of experience in pharmaceutical production or a related manufacturing environment.
• Diploma in Pharmacy.
• Strong understanding of cGMP, GxP and SOP compliance.
• Ability to work under supervision, report deviations and suggest improvements.
• Commitment to personal hygiene and safety regulations.
