Junior HR Business Partner – Australia & New Zealand

About the role

We are looking for a Junior HR Business Partner to support our operations across Australia and New Zealand. The role will help develop HR policies, drive employee engagement and ensure compliance with local labour regulations while working closely with recruitment, immigration and compensation teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures and an associate handbook aligned with company objectives and local laws.
• Lead employee‑engagement initiatives and charter for onsite locations, fostering stronger connections.
• Resolve employee‑relations issues promptly, including counselling and investigations.
• Ensure compliance with labour, data‑privacy, health‑and‑safety and anti‑discrimination regulations.
• Design programmes to improve employee satisfaction and engagement.
• Manage people‑transfer processes in accordance with local legislation.
• Support restructuring actions and related HR processes when required.
• Act as HR subject‑matter expert for recruitment, immigration and compensation & benefits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in any HR stream; experience in regional HR, C&B or business HR preferred.
• Willingness to start work at 5 AM IST to align with ANZ time zones.
• Commitment to acquire in‑depth knowledge of ANZ labour laws, contracts and employee benefits.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership abilities.
• Excellent organisational and project‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
