Junior Fashion Designer – Retail Brand

About the role

We are looking for a creative and detail‑oriented Junior Fashion Designer to support our design team in developing innovative collections for our retail brand. You will work closely with senior designers, vendors and cross‑functional teams to ensure every product aligns with market trends and our brand vision.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior designers in creating new collections, sketches, technical drawings and prototypes.
• Conduct market research, trend analysis and compile mood boards for design meetings.
• Source fabrics, trims and manage sample inventory, coordinating with suppliers for timely delivery.
• Prepare detailed technical packs, specifications and support photo‑shoot organization.
• Collaborate with merchandising, marketing and sales teams to align design concepts with business goals.
• Track product performance, color and fit metrics, and contribute to weekly/monthly sales reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in fashion or garment design.
• Strong creative instincts, awareness of current Indian market trends and a customer‑focused mindset.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
