Junior Back-end Software Engineer (Java)

About the role

Join WirelessCar as a Junior Back‑end Software Engineer and gain hands‑on experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and modern back‑end architectures. You will work in a supportive, collaborative team that encourages initiative, continuous learning, and mentorship from senior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain back‑end software components in line with requirements and engineering standards.
• Implement well‑defined features and bug fixes.
• Write unit tests and adhere to quality, security, and coding best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and other team ceremonies.
• Communicate progress, risks, and blockers clearly and early.
• Own assigned tasks from start to completion.
• Continuously expand knowledge of the system architecture and development practices.

Required profile

• Solid foundation in back‑end development, preferably with Java.
• Problem‑solving mindset and strong willingness to learn.
• Comfortable working in a team‑oriented environment and taking responsibility for your work.
• Proactive attitude: not afraid to ask questions, suggest improvements, or try new approaches.
• Commitment to clean code, quality, and collaboration.
