Junior Architect

About the role

Arch Point Consultants is seeking a motivated Junior Architect to join its design team in Jaipur. You will support senior architects throughout the design development process, from concept creation to on‑site coordination, gaining hands‑on experience on residential, commercial and institutional projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare architectural drawings, working drawings and design presentations under senior guidance.
• Assist with concept design, space planning and 3D visualisation for diverse project types.
• Update and produce drawings using AutoCAD, SketchUp and Revit as required.
• Coordinate with interior designers and project managers to ensure design consistency.
• Participate in site visits to monitor implementation and resolve design queries.
• Help prepare BOQs, material specifications and design documentation.
• Research design trends, materials and construction techniques.
• Ensure all documentation complies with building codes and regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Arch) from a recognised institution.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience; fresh graduates with strong portfolios are welcome.
• Basic understanding of building codes, construction materials and detailing.
• Strong sketching, visualisation and presentation abilities.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Willingness to travel for site visits within Jaipur/Rajasthan.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Working knowledge of SketchUp.
• Working knowledge of Revit.
• Familiarity with rendering software such as Lumion or V‑Ray.
