Junior Accountant – Jaipur

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team in Jaipur. The role involves handling day‑to‑day accounting tasks, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, and supporting month‑end closing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Process invoices, receipts, payment entries and expense records.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Maintain books of accounts in Tally and ensure proper accounting entries.
• Perform account balancing, ledger scrutiny and reconciliation of accounts.
• Prepare and file GST returns and ensure GST compliance.
• Calculate, deduct and reconcile TDS, handling related compliance.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and prepare accurate financial statements.
• Prepare MIS reports and provide financial data for management review.
• Assist in monthly and yearly closing activities and ensure documentation complies with accounting standards and statutory requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Accountant or Junior Accountant.
• Good knowledge of Tally and other accounting software.
• Practical understanding of GST, TDS and statutory compliance.
• Experience in invoice processing, payment entries and account reconciliation.
• Strong grasp of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
