Junior Accountant – GST & Tally Specialist

About the role
We are seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to join our dynamic CA firm in Kolkata. The successful candidate will work closely with senior accountants to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with Indian tax regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare and file GST returns, ensuring timely compliance.
- Handle income tax filings and coordinate with tax authorities.
- Produce financial statements and client account reports.
- Assist in audit preparation and meet statutory requirements.
Required profile
- B.Com degree.
- 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Detail‑oriented with a focus on accuracy.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
Required skills
- GST compliance and filing.
- Income Tax regulations.
- Proficiency with Tally accounting software.
