Junior Accountant / Accounts Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Junior Accountant to handle day‑to‑day data entry, stock tracking, and worker attendance at our handmade carpet manufacturing facility in Panipat. This ground‑level finance and inventory position requires high accuracy and a strong sense of responsibility.

Key responsibilities

• Enter all material movements (incoming and outgoing yarn, backing, packaging, etc.) in Tally and Excel, maintaining up‑to‑date digital inventory logs.
• Record daily artisan attendance and piece‑rate output, and assist in preparing weekly/monthly wage sheets.
• Conduct routine physical inventory audits of raw materials, packaging supplies, and semi‑finished carpets, reconciling them with system records.
• Maintain organized physical filing for purchase invoices, delivery challans, and wage receipts, and support the senior plant controller with basic cost calculations.

Required profile

• B.Com graduate preferred (12th pass with relevant experience also considered).
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on accounting or inventory data‑entry experience in a factory or store environment.
• Proficiency in Tally (voucher entry, inventory masters) and Microsoft Excel (basic formulas, sorting, SUM, AVERAGE).
• Local candidate residing in or around Panipat with reliable commute.
• Attributes: high speed and accuracy in numerical entry, honesty, punctuality.
