Java Backend Developer – 7-9 years experience

About the role

Capco is seeking an experienced Java Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain high‑performance microservices for banking and financial clients. The role involves full‑stack backend responsibilities, ensuring security, scalability, and observability of APIs.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and troubleshoot production incidents and issues.
• Manage vulnerabilities using NexusIQ, JFrog Xray, Artifactory, and SonarQube.
• Develop and maintain Spring Boot/Cloud based RESTful and SOAP services.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines with Kubernetes/OpenShift, Docker, and Helm.
• Ensure monitoring and observability using Grafana, ELK, and Prometheus.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of hands‑on Java backend development experience.
• Strong English communication skills (CEFR C1 level).
• Experience working in Agile Scrum teams.
