Python/Django Engineer (5-7 years)

About the role

The role focuses on improving data usage, applying analytical methods, and deploying AI applications in production within Capco's financial services projects. You will work on data collection, labeling, feature engineering, and automation of modeling pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Make better use of data through collection, labeling, curation, structuring, and feature engineering.
• Apply analytical methods to answer business questions and improve models.
• Support deployment of AI applications to production using CI/CD pipelines, Airflow, Mlflow, and establish model monitoring.
• Automate the modeling pipeline.
• Promote new technologies and best practices in testing.
• Continuously propose automation and improvement initiatives.
• Analyze requirements related to automation.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., statistics, computer science, engineering); PhD a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of data‑science experience, preferably in the financial sector.
• Strong hands‑on experience with SQL, Pandas, Hadoop/Spark, and web scraping.
• Proficiency in classical machine learning and generative AI with a data‑centric approach.
• Extensive experience programming in Python and deploying AI applications.
