IT System Administrator – Chandigarh

About the role

We are looking for a proactive IT System Administrator to join our dynamic team in Chandigarh. The successful candidate will manage and maintain our heterogeneous IT environment, ensuring stability, performance, and security while providing hands‑on support to end‑users.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain servers and workstations running Windows and Linux.
• Troubleshoot operating system, hardware, and network issues using the IT ticketing system.
• Support Cisco network devices, firewalls, LAN, DHCP, VPN, and wireless infrastructure.
• Apply security patches, firmware upgrades, and manage backup & recovery processes.
• Administer virtualization platforms such as VMware ESX and Microsoft Hyper‑V.
• Manage Active Directory – user accounts, group policies, security groups, and AD backup/recovery.
• Configure and maintain Google Workspace services, email distribution groups, and spam controls.
• Monitor system health, performance logs, and implement capacity‑optimisation solutions.

Required profile

• 4–6 years of hands‑on experience in system and network administration.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
