IT Support Technician – 1-2 Years Experience

About the role

We are seeking a motivated IT Support Technician to join our internal IT team. The role involves providing first‑line technical assistance to employees, ensuring that hardware, software, and network services run smoothly across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑level support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues, including Windows OS, MS Office, and network problems.
• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and IT equipment.
• Perform system updates, routine maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.
• Support onboarding by setting up user accounts, email IDs, and required software access.
• Maintain accurate IT asset records and track hardware allocation.
• Coordinate with external vendors or senior IT staff for issues that cannot be resolved internally.
• Ensure timely closure of tickets and user requests.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of hands‑on experience in IT or desktop support.
• Experience working in a corporate IT support environment is preferred.
• Ability to work flexible shifts if required.
