IT Security Analyst

About the role

The IT Security Analyst will join the global Cybersecurity team, focusing on Security Operations and Incident Response. You will help protect customers by detecting threats, responding to incidents, and continuously improving the organization’s security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Design, test, and deploy detection rules to monitor and alert on potential cyber threats.
• Adjust existing detections to reduce false positives while maintaining coverage.
• Own assigned security events, performing triage, containment, remediation, and documentation.
• Collaborate with digital and business teams to restore normal operations after incidents.
• Investigate root causes and recommend preventive actions.
• Monitor threat intelligence, attacker techniques, and industry trends.
• Participate in tabletop exercises, post‑incident reviews, and mentor junior analysts.
• Suggest improvements to processes, playbooks, and documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in cybersecurity incident response within a global organization.
• Experience designing and developing detection capabilities.
• Proven ability to create and improve cybersecurity playbooks.
