Inventory Controller

About the role

The Inventory Controller is responsible for managing and executing inventory, warehouse and fulfilment activities across a variety of facilities such as container freight stations, yards, inland depots and bonded warehouses. Working within Maersk's Fulfilment & Logistics Operations Execution stream, the role ensures accurate stock records and supports smooth operational flow.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor inventory levels and perform regular cycle counts.
• Reconcile stock discrepancies and update inventory records.
• Support planning and execution of warehouse activities.
• Coordinate with carrier management and distribution teams as needed.
• Maintain documentation and follow standardized work routines.
• Escalate non‑routine problems to senior colleagues or supervisors.

Required profile

• Limited job and business knowledge at the time of hiring, with the ability to learn on the job.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment within defined guidelines.
• Willingness to work under supervision while developing technical and operational skills.
• Knowledge of standardized work methods and routines.
