About the role
The Storekeeper is responsible for managing incoming materials, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring safe storage practices within the facility.
Key responsibilities
- Take delivery of all incoming materials and reconcile with purchase orders.
- Track, document, and resolve any discrepancies on received orders.
- Update the facility’s inventory system with physical inventory totals, receipts, adjustments, and returns.
- Maintain inventory levels within established minimum and maximum thresholds.
- Prepare GRNs, stock registers, and maintain records in line with ISO and QHSE standards.
- Follow up on deliveries, discrepancies, and documentation such as challans and invoices.
- Generate daily/weekly consumption reports and highlight variances or shortages.
- Ensure safe storage practices and maintain cleanliness and order in the store area.
- Monitor tools, equipment, and consumables issued to site teams.
