About the role
We are seeking a responsible and proactive International Hostel Caretaker for the Men’s Hostel at Amritapuri. The role involves ensuring the smooth daily operation of the hostel, safeguarding student welfare, and maintaining a disciplined, clean environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist wardens with daily hostel operations and supervise students.
- Accompany students to medical facilities during illness or emergencies.
- Address student requests promptly and coordinate appropriate resolutions.
- Enforce hostel rules, maintain safety standards, and ensure discipline.
- Maintain basic records, administrative documentation, and attendance logs.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree (minimum qualification).
- Prior experience in hostel, residential facility, or accommodation management is preferred.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and coordination abilities.
- Ability to handle student interactions responsibly and maintain a professional atmosphere.
Required skills
- Basic computer proficiency, particularly MS Office.
