Internal Auditor

About the role

We are a fast‑growing business consulting practice serving large global and Indian clients in the financial services sector. The Internal Auditor will execute audit and risk‑consulting engagements for asset managers and insurance companies, focusing on investment processes and regulatory frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Perform end‑to‑end internal audits, from planning and walkthroughs to reporting, including risk and control matrix preparation and control testing.
• Develop a deep understanding of asset‑management risks, investment processes across front, middle and back office, and insurance investment operations.
• Apply SOX/ICFR methodology and IIA requirements to assess design and operating effectiveness of controls.
• Deliver engagements on time, within budget, and to high‑quality standards while identifying improvement opportunities.
• Contribute to business development by preparing proposals and identifying leads.
• Adhere to firm quality and risk‑management policies.

Required profile

• CA or ACCA qualification.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple engagements concurrently.
• Proactive risk awareness and strong relationship‑management capabilities.
• Willingness to work across time zones and travel when required.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Data analytics competence.
