Internal Audit Team Member

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Team Member for the Internal Audit function of Aditya Birla Health Insurance Company Ltd, based in Thane, Maharashtra. The role supports the Audit Committee and the Internal Audit department in delivering high‑quality audits across the organization, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation within the fast‑growing health‑insurance sector. The health‑insurance market in India is expanding rapidly, and the internal audit team plays a critical role in safeguarding operational integrity and supporting strategic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct and deliver quality internal audits independently or with the support of audit partners.
• Manage relationships with audit partners, coordinating their activities and ensuring timely delivery of audit reports.
• Support the rollout of new CCMs (Control and Compliance Measures), targeting approximately 200 new implementations annually.
• Coordinate and monitor existing CCMs, facilitating collaboration between auditors and auditees for around 300 ongoing initiatives.
• Prepare audit findings, recommendations, and follow‑up actions for the Audit Committee.

Required profile

• Designation: Functional & Offsite Auditor.
• Relevant experience in internal audit, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of health‑insurance processes and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple audit engagements and work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
