Integrated Manufacturing System Engineer

About the role

The Integrated Manufacturing Systems Engineer will ensure optimal plant performance and equipment reliability within Sanofi's pharmaceutical manufacturing site in Goa. You will lead maintenance excellence, apply predictive maintenance strategies, and support continuous improvement to safeguard product quality and patient safety.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain overall plant reliability by overseeing equipment, utilities and facilities performance.
• Track maintenance and reliability (M&R) value, performance metrics and cost effectiveness.
• Develop, implement and continuously optimise maintenance strategies.
• Deploy predictive maintenance tools, data‑analytics platforms and digital work‑order systems.
• Optimise spare‑parts inventory through criticality assessment and failure‑effect analysis.
• Lead staffing decisions, resource allocation and performance management for the maintenance team.
• Conduct root‑cause analyses (RCA) and define corrective actions for equipment failures.
• Provide reliability expertise for capital projects, equipment modifications and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Execute preventive‑maintenance programmes, Installation Qualification (IQ) and Operational Qualification (OQ) for new or upgraded equipment.

Required profile

• Engineering background with experience in manufacturing equipment maintenance and reliability.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical regulatory standards (cGMP, GXP, GDP).
• Proven ability to analyse performance data and drive cost‑effective maintenance solutions.
• Experience leading teams, managing resources and conducting RCA investigations.
