Installation & Service Engineer – Mechanical (Diploma)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Installation & Service Engineer with a mechanical focus to install, commission, and support the G‑Gaiter robotic rehabilitation system at customer sites. The role combines hands‑on mechanical work with after‑sales service to ensure optimal product performance and high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical installation, assembly, alignment, and commissioning of G‑Gaiter systems on‑site.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to keep equipment reliable.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical faults during visits.
• Conduct routine inspections and functional testing to verify smooth operation.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams for installation, commissioning, and issue resolution.
• Prepare service reports, installation documentation, and maintenance records after each visit.
• Provide basic operational guidance to customers on handling and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and quality standards while working in the field.
• Travel extensively across the assigned region for installations, servicing, and emergency support.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 0–2 years of experience in installation, commissioning, maintenance, or field service of mechanical equipment (freshers with strong technical knowledge are welcome).
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems, assemblies, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Good problem‑solving, communication, and customer‑handling skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work both independently and collaboratively.
