Informatica Administrator (UNIX/Linux)

About the role

The Informatica Administrator will be responsible for managing and supporting Informatica PowerCenter and BDM environments on UNIX/Linux platforms. You will work closely with ETL developers, database and infrastructure teams to ensure reliable data integration and timely job execution.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and administer Informatica PowerCenter and BDM domains, repositories, integration and application services.
• Manage code deployments and migrations across Development, QA and Production environments.
• Monitor workflows, sessions and logs, troubleshoot performance issues and job failures.
• Perform routine maintenance, patching, upgrades and security role management.
• Provide UNIX/Linux system administration, develop shell scripts for automation and monitoring, and manage file systems, permissions and batch processing.
• Schedule and monitor jobs using cron, Autosys or Control‑M and analyze logs for issue resolution.
• Document configurations, processes and troubleshooting steps while adhering to data security and governance standards.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with Informatica administration (PowerCenter/BDM).
• Strong knowledge of UNIX/Linux environments and shell scripting.
• Familiarity with ETL and data‑warehousing concepts.
• Experience with job scheduling tools such as Autosys, Control‑M or cron.
• Ability to analyze logs, troubleshoot issues and support production incidents.
