Industrial Relations HR Specialist

About the role

This position is responsible for maintaining harmonious industrial relations between management, employees, and contract workforce. The role involves handling union interactions, grievance resolution, and supporting collective bargaining initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage industrial relations, including union negotiations, settlement discussions, and grievance handling.
• Ensure compliance with labor statutes such as the Factories Act, Industrial Relations Code, CLRA, PF, ESI, and Minimum Wages Act.
• Liaise with labor authorities, conduct statutory audits, and maintain compliance documentation.
• Oversee contract labor deployment, verify contractor adherence to labor licenses, wages, welfare, PF, and ESI, and perform periodic audits.
• Handle disciplinary cases, conduct domestic inquiries, draft charge sheets and warning letters, and coordinate with legal teams for labor court matters.
• Implement employee welfare initiatives, run awareness sessions on workplace policies, and promote a positive work culture.

Required profile

• Proven experience in industrial relations or labor law compliance.
• Strong understanding of relevant labor legislation and statutory requirements.
• Ability to manage union negotiations and resolve employee grievances effectively.
• Experience coordinating with legal teams and handling disciplinary procedures.
