Industrial Painter – Aerospace Manufacturing

About the role

The Painter will join the production line at our Panipat facility, supporting aerospace manufacturing by delivering high‑quality paint finishes on parts and structures. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on surface preparation, coating application, and strict adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces through cleaning, sanding, masking and priming according to technical specifications.
• Mix and match paints, apply coatings using brush, roller or spray equipment, and perform detailed touch‑up work.
• Inspect finished work for quality, ensuring consistent colour and finish.
• Maintain painting tools and equipment, including cleaning spray guns and calibrating settings.
• Follow all safety, health and environmental procedures, using appropriate PPE and ventilation.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance and quality teams to meet painting schedules.

Required profile

• Experience in painting and decorating with strong focus on surface preparation and finish quality.
• Knowledge of primers, protective finishes and specialised industrial or aerospace coatings.
• Proficiency in operating, adjusting and cleaning spray‑painting equipment.
• Understanding of safety practices related to painting, including PPE use and ventilation.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, technical drawings and specification sheets.
• Attention to detail, manual dexterity and physical ability to stand, bend and lift as required.
• Previous experience in industrial, automotive or aerospace painting is preferred; vocational training or certification in painting/coatings is an advantage.
