Income Auditor – Hotel Revenue & Audit Specialist

About the role

The Income Auditor will ensure the accuracy and completeness of all hotel revenue streams, supporting the finance team with daily and monthly reporting. Working closely with front‑desk, food & beverage, and other operated departments, you will verify that all transactions are correctly recorded and investigate any discrepancies.

Key responsibilities

• Audit daily room, food & beverage, telephone, and ancillary department revenues against source documents.
• Validate nightly audit reports, cash movements, and cashier shortages/overages.
• Check the accuracy of room rates, complimentary rooms, and special rate applications.
• Review voided and negative check lines for proper approval and documentation.
• Monitor and reconcile guest ledger balances, investigating questionable entries.
• Prepare revenue summaries for the Accounting and Control Division and provide heads of department with profitability data.
• Ensure all banquet, garage, laundry, and business centre revenues are fully captured.

• Ability to work independently while maintaining effective communication with multiple departments.
• Experience in audit or finance functions within hospitality is preferred.
