Inbound Operations Executive – Warehouse

About the role

PUMA is seeking an Inbound Operations Executive to manage day‑to‑day inbound logistics in its Gurgaon warehouse. You will own the process from gate‑in to dock‑to‑stock, ensuring accurate receiving, quality checks, GRN posting and timely put‑away while adhering to safety and SLA requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate vehicle and dock scheduling with transport partners and security.
• Supervise unloading, perform count and visual checks for damage, seal integrity, batch/lot, MRP and expiry.
• Raise and escalate shortage or damage discrepancies promptly.
• Verify PO, ASN, delivery note and invoice before posting; post GRN in WMS/ERP within SLA.
• Label, palletise and barcode items according to standards for put‑away.
• Execute scan‑based put‑away to system‑directed bins and support daily stock reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate audit records and coordinate with Finance for goods receipt support.
• Liaise with factories, sourcing, QA, planning and other stakeholders to resolve inbound issues.
• Publish daily inbound MIS and suggest Kaizen improvements to reduce TAT and costs.

Required profile

• Graduate or postgraduate degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in inbound warehouse operations.
• Strong understanding of SOPs, safety, 5S and regulatory compliance.
