Hydraulic Engineer – MEWP Division

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Hydraulic Engineer to strengthen our Mobile Elevating Work Platform (MEWP) division. The role involves designing, analyzing, and optimizing hydraulic systems for construction, mining, and off‑road equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and select hydraulic components such as pumps, motors, cylinders, manifolds, tanks, filters, hoses, and fittings.
• Develop and analyze closed‑loop hydraulic systems.
• Create and interpret hydraulic schematics for various equipment categories.
• Perform hydraulic tank sizing, hose routing, and overall system optimization.
• Ensure designs comply with DIN, ISO, and SAE standards.
• Lead component development and coordinate design approvals with global experts.
• Troubleshoot system issues, conduct root‑cause analysis, and work with suppliers on corrective actions.
• Manage Bills of Materials, engineering drawings, and GD&T implementation.

Required profile

• B.Tech/BE degree in Mechanical or related engineering discipline.
• 6‑9 years of experience in hydraulic design, preferably in mobile or off‑highway machinery.
• Strong expertise in mobile hydraulics and closed‑loop systems.
• Experience with construction equipment, MEWP, mining or off‑road machinery.
• Familiarity with hydraulic design standards and troubleshooting methodologies.
