Human Resources Manager – Talent Acquisition & Operations

About the role

VMD is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead end‑to‑end HR operations at its Kolkata headquarters. The role focuses on talent acquisition, employee lifecycle management, and compliance, ensuring a smooth experience for new hires and departing staff.

Key responsibilities

• Drive full‑cycle talent acquisition using LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing channels.
• Manage onboarding, induction, and documentation compliance for new employees.
• Maintain HR records, offer letters, appointment letters, and personal files.
• Conduct exit interviews and oversee full & final settlement processes.
• Partner with department heads to forecast manpower needs and build recruitment pipelines.
• Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timely disbursement.
• Handle employee enrolment, PF and ESIC registration in line with statutory requirements.
• Support KPI/KRA tracking, performance reviews, policy implementation, and employee engagement initiatives.

Required profile

• 4‑7 years of HR experience with strong exposure to talent acquisition.
• Graduate degree; MBA/PGDM in HR is an advantage.
• Immediate joiner preferred.

Required skills

• LinkedIn Recruiter (or similar sourcing platforms).
• Microsoft Excel and MS Office proficiency.
• HRMS tools.
• Familiarity with AI‑based recruitment tools (advantageous).
