Human Resources Manager – Lead HR Function

About the role

The company, a leading international engineering and project‑management firm, is looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager to own and lead the complete HR function. Based in Bangalore (relocation possible), you will act as a hands‑on business partner, driving talent acquisition, retention and HR operations across engineering, design and project‑management teams.

Key responsibilities

• End‑to‑end recruitment for engineering, design, project‑management and corporate roles, including workforce planning, sourcing, screening, offer negotiation and onboarding.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies using job portals, LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, consultants and campus channels; lead senior‑level and niche hires.
• Analyse attrition, conduct exit and stay interviews, and design targeted retention programmes.
• Manage the full employee lifecycle: performance management, compensation & benefits, employee relations, statutory compliance, payroll coordination and succession planning.
• Design HR policies, administer HRIS (SAP SuccessFactors, Workday or Darwinbox), and provide leadership dashboards and analytics.

Required profile

• 12–18 years of HR experience, preferably in corporate or business‑HR roles within engineering consultancy, EPC, power, infrastructure or renewable‑energy sectors.
• Proven track record in high‑volume recruitment with measurable outcomes.
• Demonstrated success in retention initiatives and attrition reduction.
• MBA / PGDM / MSW in Human Resources.
• Experience hiring engineers, designers and project professionals.
