HR & Statutory Manager

About the role

The HR & Statutory Manager will lead end‑to‑end HR operations for a hospital, overseeing the employee lifecycle, payroll, statutory compliance and engagement while ensuring adherence to hospital policies and relevant labour laws.

Key responsibilities

• Manage recruitment, onboarding, induction and maintain employee documentation.
• Maintain employee records, attendance, leave management and HRIS data.
• Coordinate payroll inputs and ensure timely salary processing.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as PF, ESI, Professional Tax and labour laws.
• Support performance management, employee engagement and training initiatives.
• Handle employee grievances and assist with disciplinary processes.
• Prepare HR MIS reports and maintain statutory registers and documentation.
• Coordinate with government authorities, auditors and external agencies for compliance.
• Ensure alignment with hospital policies, HR best practices and NABH standards.

Required profile

• BBA or MBA in Human Resources.
• 3–5 years of experience in HR operations and statutory compliance, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of labour laws, payroll processes and statutory regulations.
