HR Manager

About the role

We are looking for a senior HR Manager to lead the Human Resources function for our organization in Kochi. The role demands a strategic partner who can align people initiatives with business goals across the pharmaceutical, healthcare, life‑sciences, medical‑devices, or FMCG sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an HR strategy that supports long‑term growth and business objectives.
• Act as a strategic HR business partner to senior leadership and department heads.
• Lead the HR team across recruitment, employee relations, performance management, learning & development, compensation, and HR operations.
• Design workforce plans, succession pipelines, and talent acquisition strategies for corporate, sales, operations, manufacturing, and support functions.
• Implement talent management, retention, and employee engagement programs.
• Drive organizational restructuring, change management, and HR transformation initiatives.
• Oversee performance management frameworks, including KPIs, KRAs, goal setting, reviews, and development plans.
• Provide guidance on complex employee‑relations matters, grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
• Manage compensation and benefits strategy, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with market standards.
• Maintain HR policies, processes, and governance in line with Indian labour laws and statutory requirements.

Required profile

• 15–20 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in pharmaceutical, healthcare, life‑sciences, medical‑devices, or FMCG industries.
• Proven track record as a strategic HR business partner to senior leadership.
• Extensive experience in workforce planning, talent acquisition, performance management, compensation, and employee relations.
• Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws and statutory compliance (PF, ESI, Gratuity, Shops & Establishments Act, etc.).
• Demonstrated ability to lead HR transformation, change management, and organizational restructuring.
