HR Manager – Full‑Spectrum HR Role in Hassan

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead the full spectrum of human resources activities for our green coffee export business in Hassan. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will ensure smooth HR operations, compliance, and support the company’s strategic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage talent acquisition, development, compensation & benefits, and employee engagement.
• Oversee day‑to‑day HR operations, including payroll processing and statutory filings (PF, ESI).
• Ensure timely renewal of all required licenses and permits.
• Advise on organizational structure and development plans aligned with strategic objectives.
• Implement regional and global HR initiatives at the local level.
• Maintain effective recruitment, training, and development systems.
• Ensure compliance with Indian labour laws and stay updated on regulatory changes.
• Handle employee counselling, disciplinary actions, performance monitoring, and appraisal.
• Travel locally as needed and perform any other duties assigned by senior management.

Required profile

• Fluent in English, Hindi and Kannada (verbal and written).
• Recognised degree in Business Administration and/or Human Resource Management.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in HR and administration, preferably in coffee or manufacturing.
• Broad HR generalist background with deep knowledge of Indian HR legislation.
• Strategic thinker, proactive, and able to work independently.
