Housekeeping Manager – Hotel Operations Lead

About the role

The Housekeeping Manager will lead the housekeeping and laundry operations for a premier resort in Goa. Reporting to the General Manager and sitting on the Executive Committee, this senior position oversees a team of 30+ staff and ensures the property meets the brand’s high standards of cleanliness, guest experience, and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Direct daily housekeeping and laundry activities, ensuring compliance with the Departmental Operations Manual.
• Manage inventory of guest supplies, linens, cleaning chemicals, and stationery, and conduct regular stock takes.
• Oversee vendor relationships for uniforms, pest‑control, and flower arrangements, ensuring service quality.
• Conduct frequent inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back‑of‑house spaces in collaboration with the Front Office Manager.
• Implement brand standards, including Touches of Hyatt and Rooms Top 20, and act on Consumer Audit findings.
• Handle guest and internal complaints promptly, maintaining high service standards.
• Coordinate special room preparations for VIP arrivals, long‑stay guests, and special requests.
• Ensure proper handling of lost‑and‑found items and maintain accurate records.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing housekeeping operations in a luxury hotel or resort environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a large, diverse team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work with senior management and internal departments.
