Housekeeping Apprentice (Trainee)

About the role

Join a hotel within the Accor network as a Housekeeping Apprentice. You will support daily cleaning operations, learn industry standards, and develop practical skills in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms: make beds, dust, vacuum, replenish amenities and arrange supplies.
• Maintain public areas such as lobbies, corridors, restrooms and back‑of‑house spaces to brand cleanliness standards.
• Prepare housekeeping trolleys with linen, amenities and cleaning supplies.
• Assist with laundry tasks including sorting, folding and delivering linen.
• Report maintenance issues (lighting, air‑conditioning, plumbing) to the supervisor.
• Support busy periods, check‑outs and room turn‑arounds.
• Follow hygiene protocols, use cleaning chemicals safely and ensure proper waste segregation.
• Greet guests politely, respect privacy and handle lost‑and‑found items according to procedure.

Required profile

• Hotel Management student, recent graduate or diploma holder.
• Enthusiasm for learning housekeeping techniques and guest service.
• Ability to work in a team and follow detailed instructions.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe equipment handling.
