Hostess – Guest Service

About the role

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Hostess to join the front‑of‑house team at our Marriott hotel in Jaipur. The role involves welcoming guests, managing seating arrangements and ensuring a smooth dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, determine party size and escort them to appropriate tables.
• Pull out chairs, place clean menus, napkins and silverware, and ensure each setting meets standards.
• Monitor dining room flow, adjust seating for groups with special needs and maintain a tidy environment using clean‑as‑you‑go practices.
• Check menus for cleanliness and accuracy, and keep work areas organized throughout the shift.
• Follow all company safety, security and uniform policies, report any incidents and complete required training.
• Answer telephone calls with professional etiquette and support teammates to achieve common service goals.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and lift objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional appearance.
• Willingness to work full‑time in an on‑site hospitality environment.
