Head - Special Security

About the role

The Head - Special Security will lead security operations across multiple sites for Navbharat Mega Developers Pvt. Ltd., a joint venture between the Government of Maharashtra and the Adani Group. The role aligns security measures with business objectives, ensuring protection of infrastructure, personnel, and assets while supporting the Dharavi Redevelopment Project.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Security Strategy and roadmap in line with corporate policy.
• Manage security budgets (Capex and Opex) and obtain necessary approvals.
• Build relationships with local authorities and media to gather intelligence and assess risks.
• Conduct security risk assessments and coordinate mitigation of identified gaps.
• Lead internal and third‑party audits, addressing findings promptly.
• Design and implement Emergency Response and Control Plans, supervise the Quick Reaction Team, and refine response procedures.
• Oversee Site Security Control Room operations and integrate with the National Security Control Room for incident escalation.
• Monitor compliance with SOPs and SOGs, generate MIS reports for senior leadership.
• Manage access control, visitor management, and traffic flow across sites.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading security operations at a senior level.
• Strong background in security risk management, audit coordination, and crisis response.
• Ability to develop and manage security budgets and obtain stakeholder approvals.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with local authorities, media, and internal teams.
• Experience overseeing control rooms, access control systems, and rapid‑reaction teams.
