Head of Human Resources

About the role

The Head of Human Resources will lead the HR function for Heritage Aviation, a premium aviation services provider. Based in Dehradun, this full‑time, on‑site position is responsible for shaping people strategies that align with the company’s growth and safety‑focused culture.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement recruitment, onboarding, performance management, compensation and benefits processes.
• Develop, update and ensure compliance of HR policies with Indian labour and employment laws.
• Manage employee relations, conflict resolution and promote an inclusive workplace.
• Partner with senior leadership to forecast workforce needs and drive talent development initiatives.
• Oversee HR metrics, reporting and continuous improvement of HR systems.
• Coach managers on best HR practices and handle complex employee issues.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading an HR function or department, preferably in aviation or a regulated industry.
• Strong knowledge of Indian labour and employment legislation.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and enforce HR policies that support business objectives.
• Excellent communication, analytical and decision‑making skills.
