Head of Digital Workplace & Roof Services

About the role

Airbus is expanding its Digital Centre in Bangalore and seeks a senior leader to head the Global Digital Workplace and Roof Services teams in India. The role combines operational management of the Digital Workplace portfolio with strategic oversight of Roof Services, ensuring alignment with Airbus’ worldwide digital strategy and regional growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the India Digital Workplace & Roof Services teams, setting goals, monitoring performance and coaching members.
• Manage delivery of Digital Workplace initiatives in India, including budgeting, supplier coordination, risk and issue management, and change control.
• Design, communicate and implement digital strategies for India and South Asia, aligning with global Digital and DGI strategies.
• Act as the primary liaison between European DW/DGI teams and Indian IIDW/IIDR teams to synchronize scope and strategy.
• Oversee global communications and stakeholder alignment across widely distributed groups.
• Ensure products and services are delivered on time, within cost, and meet quality expectations.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large, cross‑functional IT or digital transformation teams.
• Strong understanding of digital workplace technologies and enterprise‑wide service delivery.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, suppliers and complex risk environments.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with global stakeholders and drive alignment.
